organized by ASSOCHAM.

The Objectives of the programme –

  1. To understand the concept of Profit Re-Engineering
  2. To manage cost strategically.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India Welcome address was given by Mr Babu Lal Jain , Senior Member, ASSOCHAM  CMA Manas Kumar Thakur addressed the theme.

Dr. Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India focused on revival of Medium and Small Scale Industries by applying the different costing techniques.

Speakers of the event were from various Corporate including Mr Manoj Kumar Misra , Head of Regulatory ( Strategy & Policy) , Vodafone India gave emphasized on controlling overhead for target costing – a decision making problem – needs ABC approach. Ms Vani Sharma, Director, Global Transfer Pricing Services, BSR & Co.LLP viewed on transfer pricing – ensuring the right cost in a multi division company.

Faculties and Students from PGDM 3rd and MBA 3rd Semester attended the event.

The participation provided a rich exposure to the students about the Profit Re-Engineering. Students interacted with the Corporate Leaders and various business organizations participated in the event and learnt a lot about practicalities. Students also demanded such kind of event in the future.
